To mark the publication of Leonard Nikani’s autobiography, a graphic portrayal of a black man growing up in racist South Africa, My Life Under White Supremacy and in Exile, by Socialist Resistance the book’s editor spoke at a meeting in London in April 2009. Norman Traub, a longstanding South African revolutionary socialist now living in England describes Nikami’s political journey and looks at how the ANC made its peace with capitalism.
