Jewish Voice for Labour is a new group whose mission is “to contribute to making the Labour Party an open, democratic and inclusive party, encouraging all ethnic groups and cultures to join and participate freely”. It has been established in order to counter the witch-hunt in the Labour Party, and to uphold the right of pro-Palestinian activists to campaign for Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment (BDS) and against Zionism, without fear of being falsely branded as antisemitic.
The public launch, to be held as a fringe meeting at Labour Party conference, is open to everyone who supports the JVL’s Statement of Principles.
