Scottish Socialist Party to contest Euro-elections

Last weekend’s Scottish Socialist Party (SSP) conference decided by a two-to-one margin to contest the June 2009 European elections. The decision was taken at the party’s annual conference, this year being held on the island of Arran. The move was agreed by the surprisingly large margin of 48-25-2.
