Denmark’s Red Green Alliance has a membership nearing nine thousand in a country with a population of around five and million, making it a real mass party. It also has several members in the Danish parliament and has managed to avoid a major split in over twenty years, an achievement which won a spontaneous round of applause from the audience at the Socialist Resistance on broad parties.
