Brighton BN1 1AF
Last time Labour Conference was in Brighton, people sat in the aisles, stood in doorways, listened from the corridors and we ran an overspill meeting outside, so that everyone could join in our fringe event – and no one went away unhappy!
This year, make a date now not to miss John McDonnell MP, Laura Pidcock MP, Chris Williamson MP, Claudia Webbe (Labour NEC), Matt Wrack (FBU), Mark Serwotka (PCS), Dave Ward (CWU), Mick Whelan (ASLEF), Ian Hodson (BFAWU), former Labour NEC member and leading anti-purge campaigner Liz Davies from Labour Women Leading, and Sarah Walker (ECP), plus other speakers and activists still to be confirmed, as we discuss how we push forward to a Labour Government leading with the democratic socialist policies which got popular support for Labour’s 2017 manifesto.
The LRC holds its 2017 Labour conference fringe at Brighton’s Friends’ Meeting House, starting 6.30pm on Tuesday 26 September. Our Labour conference fringe is always a cracking event when it visits Brighton. If you haven’t been before, get an idea by viewing film of the main speeches from Brighton in 2015 at https://sussexlrc.com/
See you in Brighton! Refreshments will be available from 6.15pm.
