As the centenary of partition approaches Ireland is once again a major factor in British politics. The recent general election result has re-opened the discussion about a united Ireland and the border is likely to be a major factor in the Tories’ Brexit negotiations.

Liam Mc Quade, political education officer of Bethnal Green and Bow Labour Party, will introduce a discussion on the significance of the border for Brexit, British politics and Irish society.
